Thanks to the Jr. Cats 2019 sponsors and fundraising efforts, Flag Cheerleaders sign-up fee is only $10 which includes uniform t-shirt. Tackle Cheerleader sign-up is $40 plus a discount of $150 off uniform fee. The Jr. Cats tackle cheer uniforms include the shell top, bottom, undershirt, spanks, shoes, socks, backpack, pompoms and bow.
Flag Cheer practices will begin in August and will be held two days a week for one hour each day. Days and times will be available at a later date. Tackle Cheerleaders will begin practice on Tuesday, August 6th. Practice is held three days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for two hours each night.
To start the season off, Tackle Cheerleaders will cheer on the Jr. Cats tackle football teams at the TYCFL Jamboree held on Sunday, August 25th. Games are scheduled every Saturday thereafter beginning September 7th through October 26th. Flag Cheerleaders will support and follow Flag Football players and Tackle Cheerleaders will root on their respective Tackle Football division. See schedule for dates, times and location.
